Helikos International School of Creation Outreach Presents:
Heli-kids: THEATRICAL MOVEMENT and PLAY in ENGLISH
Ages: 7-11
Tuesday, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Explore the possibilities of theatrical movement in English. Through games, creative movement, pantomime, and partner acrobatics, students will develop confidence, learn physical expression, practice English and have fun!
Tuition: 140 euro for 10 classes of one hour each.

The Teachers
Sarah Liane Foster trained in physical theatre and clown at the Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre, at the Celebration Barn Theatre, and with Giovanni Fusetti. She creates, performs, and teaches clown and physical theatre in Portland, around the United States, and internationally. She has created six original movement-based theatre shows with the Nomadic Theatre Co. in Portland. Sarah is now as assistant at Helikos Scuola Internazionale di Creazione Teatrale.and teaches acrobatic play in the professional program. She enjoys walking on stilts, eating ice cream, and playing the trombone.
Denise Rinehart received her MA-ed in Teaching English while studying abroad in Poland and her MFA in Lecoq based physical theatre at LISPA, London. She is the founder of Theatre Amoeba, which focuses on international performance and educational projects including teaching English through theatre in places such as Ireland, Poland, Korea, Philippines, Itlay, Indonesia, England, and the USA. Presently she is an assistant at Helikos Scuola Internazionale di Creazione Teatrale and teaches acrobatic play in the professional program. Denise loves to create and devise and truly sees the world most clearly when she is standing on her hands.
