Trattoria Acquacotta : For all those who want to enjoy a great, Tuscan meal in a Trattoria, I strongly advise ACQUACOTTA in Via dei Pilastri (centro) (closed on Monday). It is truly excellent food, off the beaten tourist tracks : the prices are medium-high, unless you opt for the daily lunch menu at 12,50 euros. A friend took me there on Saturday… so far it’s the best restaurant i’ve been in in Florence (booking recommended on weekends and evenings).
